Black Beehive

Album by Big Head Todd and The Monsters ‧ 2014

Black Beehive is the eleventh studio album by the American rock band Big Head Todd and the Monsters, released on February 4, 2014, through Shout! Factory.

Produced and mixed by Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist Steve Jordan, the album blends the band's signature blues-rock and Americana sound with themes touching on both personal reflections and global current events. Notably, the title track "Black Beehive" serves as an elegy for the late British soul singer Amy Winehouse, referencing her signature hairstyle.
