By Request

Album by Wendy Carlos ‧ 1975

By Request is the sixth studio album by electronic music and Moog synthesizer pioneer Wendy Carlos, originally released in 1975 on Columbia Masterworks.

Notably, it was the final album Carlos released under her birth name, Walter Carlos, before publicly updating her billing to reflect her gender transition. The record acts as an eclectic assortment of fan requests, classical interpretations, pop covers, and rare electronic experiments.
