Funky

Funky is a heavily troubled, posthumous album by The Spencer Davis Group, recorded in 1969 but famously withdrawn and unreleased in its intended format at the time. Masterminded primarily by guitarist and vocalist Ray Fenwick, the album represents the post-Stevie Winwood era of the band, shifting their sound away from blue-eyed soul toward country-rock, blues-rock, and soul-inflected progressive rock.
