My Bloody Valentine
‧ 1985
Geek! is the debut EP by the alternative rock band My Bloody Valentine, released in December 1985 on Fever Records. Recorded in London, it marks a pivotal transition point for the band: it was their first release to feature mainstay bassist Debbie Googe and features a raw, energetic sound blending post-punk, noise rock, and gothic garage punk—far removed from the iconic shoegaze textures they would later pioneer.
