Ghost Stories

Ghost Stories (2014) is the sixth studio album by the British rock band Coldplay. It was released on 19 May 2014 by Parlophone in the United Kingdom and Atlantic in the United States.

With 375,000 copies sold by July, it became the best-selling album of the first half of 2014. In the United States, the record opened with 383,000 copies, earning the band their fourth number-one on the Billboard 200, where it stayed for two consecutive weeks. It has sold 853,500 copies on the country as of November 2015. On the Canadian Albums Chart, Ghost Stories sold 49,000 copies upon release and 117,000 throughout the year. All tracks from the album entered the International Gaon Chart simultaneously in South Korea. It sold 3.7 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling project of 2014 by a group.
