It Was Triumph We Once Proposed... Songs of Jason Molina

Album by Glen Hansard ‧ 2015

It Was Triumph We Once Proposed... Songs of Jason Molina is a 2015 tribute EP by Irish singer-songwriter Glen Hansard. Released on March 17, 2015, through Overcoat Recordings, the 5-track release serves as a moving memorial to Hansard's late friend and peer, Jason Molina (leader of Songs: Ohia and Magnolia Electric Co.), who passed away in 2013.

To record the project, Hansard reunited with several of Molina’s former Songs: Ohia and Magnolia Electric Co. bandmates—Jeff Panall, Jennie Benford, Dan Sullivan, and Rob Sullivan. All proceeds from the EP benefit Molina's estate.
