King Biscuit Time
Album by
Sonny Boy Williamson II
‧ 1993
King Biscuit Time is a foundational compilation album by legendary blues harmonica master Sonny Boy Williamson II (born Aleck Miller).
While Arhoolie Records originally released the formal collection on LP in 1965 (with notable remastered CD and digital reissues landing in 1993 and 2000), the music captures historical recordings from his prime. The LP functions as a retrospective of his early 1950s sides recorded for Trumpet Records, interspersed with audio artifacts reflecting his legendary live radio broadcasts.
