Minor Strain

Album by Lee Morgan ‧ 1990

Minor Strain is a 1990 jazz compilation album released by Roulette Jazz (in partnership with Capitol Records / EMI). The release bridges two rare, hard bop recording sessions from 1960 originally produced by Teddy Reig for a larger collection called The Birdland Story.

The album is split between two distinct lineups, featuring a powerhouse roster of legendary jazz musicians playing pieces written by the band members themselves.
