A worldwide commercial success, the album reached number 1 in Ireland and the top five on album charts in Austria, Germany, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. It was certified five times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and received multi-Platinum certifications in other countries. The album sold twelve million copies worldwide, making it Pink's best-selling album and one of the best-selling albums of the 21st century.
