Morpheus

Released on July 21, 1989, Morpheus is the second studio album by the Canadian electronic group Delerium. At this stage in their career, the band consisted of Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber—originally formed as a side project of the industrial act Front Line Assembly.

Unlike the world-beat and ethereal pop sound they became famous for later (such as the hit "Silence"), Morpheus is characterized by Dark Ambient, Industrial, and Electronic tones. Reviewers describe it as a "moody, atmospheric piece" that is "dark as hell," featuring long, flowing instrumentals, industrial percussion, and haunting melodic loops.
