Parabellum

Album by Yngwie Malmsteen ‧ 2021

Parabellum is the 22nd studio album by legendary Swedish neoclassic metal guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, released on July 23, 2021, through Music Theories Recordings.

The album's title comes from the Latin adage "Si vis pacem, para bellum" (If you want peace, prepare for war). True to his signature style, Parabellum features a blistering mix of lightning-fast guitar solos, heavy riffs, and classical arrangements. Malmsteen took on almost all production duties himself, playing guitar, bass, keyboards, and handling the vocals.
