Progress is a seminal 1977 Afrobeat album composed and arranged by the legendary Nigerian master drummer Tony Allen, performing alongside Afrika 70. Recorded in Lagos, Nigeria, it was one of the very first solo records Allen released under his own name while still serving as the musical director for Fela Kuti's band.
