Rainbow (1999) is the seventh studio album by American singer Mariah Carey, released on November 2, 1999 in the United States, by Columbia Records.

Rainbow debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart with 323,000 units sold, the highest first-week sales of Carey's career at that time. In its first week, it was barred from the top by Rage Against the Machine's The Battle of Los Angeles. In its second week, the album stayed at number two, selling an additional 228,000 copies, barred from the top by Faith Hill's Breathe.
