Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron

Album by The Royal Guardsmen ‧ 1966

Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron is the debut studio album by the American rock band The Royal Guardsmen, released in December 1966 under Laurie Records.

The album was quickly recorded and released to capitalize on the massive, unexpected success of its title track. The concept was deeply inspired by Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts comic strip, where Snoopy frequently imagines himself as a World War I flying ace battling his archenemy, Manfred von Richthofen (The Red Baron).
