Tamayura

Album by Kitarō ‧ 2013

Tamayura is a 2013 live-recorded studio album and theatrical score by the Japanese New Age artist Kitaro. Released on March 12, 2013, by Domo Records, the album serves as the musical foundation for a theatrical production choreographed by Koichi Tamano and the Harupin-Ha Butoh Dance Theater.

The concept explores life in a microscopic world, contrasting our experiences with those of tiny characters like children living in bubbles or a waterlily fairy. Musically, it spans the electronic, tribal, experimental, and world music genres.
