The Originator is the third studio album by the English post-punk duo Sleaford Mods, released in 2009. At this stage in the band's history, the project was primarily a solo venture by vocalist Jason Williamson, before musician Andrew Fearn joined permanently in 2012. The album is characterized by its raw, abrasive style and heavily relies on unlicensed musical samples ranging from classic rock to hip-hop.
