The Return of the Red Baron

Album by The Royal Guardsmen ‧ 1967

The Return of the Red Baron is the second studio album by the Ocala, Florida garage rock band The Royal Guardsmen, released in June 1967 on Laurie Records.

Riding the wave of their massive late-1966 debut hit "Snoopy vs. the Red Baron," the band capitalized on the ongoing pop-culture craze surrounding Charles Schulz's Peanuts comic strip. The album serves as a vehicle for the title track sequel while featuring a mix of upbeat garage rock originals and contemporary covers.
