The official soundtrack album covering both films is The Ring / The Ring Two (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), released on March 15, 2005 by Decca Records.When the first movie (The Ring) was originally released in October 2002, a standalone soundtrack album was not commercially published. Following the financial success of the franchise, DreamWorks Pictures compiled the music from both the 2002 film and its 2005 sequel into a single combined release.
