The River Sessions

Album by Nazareth ‧ 2004

The River Sessions is a live archival release by the Scottish hard rock band Nazareth. The primary portion of the album features a live concert recorded on September 20, 1981, at the Glasgow Apollo in Scotland during their Fool Circle tour.

Though the performance took place in 1981, the live recordings were officially unreleased for decades until River Records put them out in April 2004. A expanded 20-track version titled The River Sessions Remastered was later released in 2011, adding bonus tracks from a separate live performance in Port Dover from the year 2000.
