This Is... The Savage Young Sonics is a archival compilation album by the American garage rock band The Sonics, released on October 30, 2001, through Norton Records.
The album provides a rare look at the legendary Tacoma, Washington band's earliest roots. The tracks consist of early home recordings, demos, and live performances taped by the father of band members Larry and Andy Parypa during the early 1960s (predating their seminal 1965 debut Here Are the Sonics).
