Time Capsule

Time Capsule is a special studio album by American rock singer and guitarist Lita Ford, released on April 15, 2016, through the Steamhammer / SPV label.

True to its name, the record is a literal archival snapshot. The audio tracks were culled from a cache of forgotten 24-track analog tapes that Ford discovered languishing in a closet at her Caribbean home. Recorded during her late-1980s commercial peak, these analog recordings capture an era of purely handmade, raw rock music completely free of digital manipulation. The sessions were casual, fun-filled jams featuring a star-studded lineup of her famous friends.
