Sei Ho (Towards the West) is a standout 1985 ambient and new-age album composed, arranged, and produced by the legendary Japanese multi-instrumentalist Kitaro.

Recorded at his Nagano Yasaka Atelier, the album is deeply atmospheric and showcases Kitaro’s signature layering of analog and early digital synthesizers (such as the Korg, Roland, Prophet 5, Mini Moog, and Yamaha DX-7) alongside electric pianos and live guitar.
