Where the Wild Things Are

Album by Steve Vai ‧ 2009

Where the Wild Things Are is the seventh live album by guitar virtuoso Steve Vai, released on September 29, 2009, through his label Favored Nations Entertainment.

The album was recorded and filmed in high-definition during a sold-out show at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on September 19, 2007, as part of his Sound Theories world tour. It stands out in Vai's discography due to the unique instrumentation of his touring band, which notably included two violinists, adding a distinct melodic layer to his complex instrumental rock compositions.
