#000000 & #FFFFFF

Album by The Neighbourhood ‧ 2014

#000000 & #FFFFFF (the hex codes for black and white) is the debut mixtape by American alternative rock band The Neighbourhood, released on November 28, 2014 through Columbia Records.

The project highlights a distinct stylistic pivot for the band, blending their signature moody, atmospheric indie-pop sound with heavy hip-hop, trip-hop, and alternative R&B production. True to the band's aesthetic at the time, the mixtape heavily incorporates themes of monochrome visual style, matching their strict black-and-white public imagery.
