The Teens
The Teens is the West Berlin pop-rock band that took Germany by storm in the late 1970s. It was Formed: 1976 in West Berlin, included: Robert Bauer: Lead Vocals, Uwe Schneider: Guitar, Jörg Treptow: Guitar (Passed away in 2007), Michael Uhlich: Drums. They were only between 12 and 14 years old.
The band sold over 5 million records worldwide during their initial run. Their music was characterized by catchy, upbeat melodies and lyrics (mostly in English) aimed at a teenage audience.
