Sahara Snow
Sahara Snow was an AOR/hard rock studio project and band formed in the 1990s by Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Rick Springfield, along with prominent '80s and '90s session musicians and producers Bob Marlette and Tim Pierce.
The trio released their self-titled debut, Sahara Snow, in 1997 through the German label MTM Music. The project served as a notable vehicle for Springfield to release new material during a period of solo transition, blending his signature melodic sensibilities with heavy synth-driven dance rock and bombastic, guitar-heavy AOR.
